U.S (STOP THE MONEY PIPELINE, English and French versions) : WELLS FARGO sided with MAGA. We’re RISING UP on AUGUST 15.

 

Together, we can hold Wells Fargo accountable for its financing of fossil fuels, its union busting, and its support of corporations complicit in Trump’s war on immigrants.

We need as many people as possible taking action in order to hold Wells Fargo accountable. Together we will tell them: hands off the planet, hands off workers, and hands off our communities!

Why are we targeting Wells Fargo? They’ve backtracked on climate commitments, undermined workers rights, schemed to privatize USPS, and engaged in roll back of DEI initiatives and a history of discriminatory lending.

Wells Fargo is capitulating to far-right extremism. Not only do they have a role in the climate crisis via their fossil fuel financing, but we’re calling out the connections between Wells Fargo and U.S. militarism, corporate greed, and the privatizing of the public good. That’s why two weeks ago, hundreds of activists in New York and San Francisco disrupted operations at Wells Fargo corporate offices.

Now, we’re taking the campaign national.

As the Guardian reported after our last Wells Fargo action, A summer of non-violent disruption is planned for Wells Fargo including a national day of coordinated action on 15 August, in an effort [...] to pressure the bank to reinstate its climate targets, stop union busting, and end its financial ties with companies accused of destroying both people and the planet.

Ensemble, nous pouvons demander des comptes à Wells Fargo pour son financement des combustibles fossiles, ses actions antisyndicales et son soutien aux entreprises complices de la guerre de Trump contre les immigrants.

Il faut que le plus grand nombre possible de personnes se mobilisent pour demander des comptes à Wells Fargo. Ensemble, nous leur dirons : ne touchez pas à la planète, ne touchez pas aux travailleurs et ne touchez pas à nos communautés !

Pourquoi ciblons-nous Wells Fargo ? L'entreprise a fait marche arrière sur ses engagements climatiques, porté atteinte aux droits des travailleurs, comploté pour privatiser USPS, et s'est engagée dans un recul des initiatives de DEI et a un historique de prêts discriminatoires.

Wells Fargo capitule face à l'extrême droite. Non seulement elle joue un rôle dans la crise climatique par son financement des énergies fossiles, mais nous dénonçons les liens entre Wells Fargo et le militarisme américain, la cupidité des entreprises et la privatisation du bien public. C'est pourquoi, il y a deux semaines, des centaines de militants à New York et à San Francisco ont perturbé les opérations dans les bureaux de Wells Fargo.

Nous allons maintenant étendre la campagne à l’échelle nationale.

Comme l'a rapporté le Guardian après notre dernière action chez Wells Fargo,  Un été de perturbations non violentes est prévu pour Wells Fargo, y compris une journée nationale d'action coordonnée le 15 août, dans un effort [...] pour faire pression sur la banque afin qu'elle rétablisse ses objectifs climatiques, cesse de briser les syndicats et mette fin à ses liens financiers avec des entreprises accusées de détruire à la fois les personnes et la planète.
