Tell President Biden: Federal officials have told Governor Doug Ducey that his shipping container "border wall" in Arizona is "unauthorized and unlawful." Please take action to remove this makeshift wall that only serves cheap GOP political stunts and anti-immigrant hate. SIGN THE PETITION!       Republican Governor Doug Ducey has built an illegal “border wall” in Arizona out of shipping containers. It’s another cheap, anti-immigrant GOP political stunt.   Federal officials have repeatedly told Ducey that his actions are “unauthorized and unlawful,” but he keeps on piling shipping containers at the border. This year, anti-immigrant GOP political stunts have included busing and flying immigrants off to cities like New York and Martha’s Vineyard. Now, this. We need the Biden administration to take action and end this makeshift border wall.     Sign the petition to President Biden: End this illegal GOP “border wall” in Arizona.     Immigrant and environmental advocates have led efforts to block construction of Ducey’s wall, as they say it will destroy precious desert biodiversity and force asylum seekers to find even more dangerous routes to come to the U.S. for refuge.   This can be stopped. David Hathaway, the sheriff in southern Arizona’s Santa Cruz County, is calling for an end to the shipping container stunt. He was specific in his demands : federal agents should “begin seizing vehicles associated with the project.”   Every time the GOP do one of these stunts, they put hate towards immigrants front and center. It’s reckless and dangerous, all to score cheap political points with an extreme right-wing base.
