It’s time to turn up the pressure on Bob Kroll, the racist leader of the Minneapolis Police Federation.

Today, activists in Minneapolis are holding a press conference at City Hall to deliver the petition that you and more than 250,000 people have signed calling for the removal of Bob Kroll, the racist leader of the Minneapolis Police Federation. 

Can you help amplify the impact of our petition delivery by tweeting at Minneapolis political leaders and asking them to denounce Kroll and call for his removal ? It takes just a minute :

Send a tweet to Minneapolis leaders asking them to push for Bob Kroll’s removal as head of the Minneapolis Police Federation.

There is a good chance we can force Kroll out of his position leading the police union - but only if we escalate the pressure now. A key step is getting Minneapolis elected officials to call for his removal or resignation. While some members of the city council, the mayor, and the police chief have made statements that are critical of Kroll and his police union, so far none have called for him to be removed. Kroll depends on the support of rank and file police officers, who want him to be effective at fighting for increased pay and better working conditions. If we can convince political leaders in Minneapolis to shun Kroll, police officers will start to think twice about supporting a police union president who political leaders won’t talk to or deal with.
