U.S : This could help charge Breonna TAYLOR's murderers.

Dear friend,

So far, Breonna Taylor's family and community have been made to wait 146 days for justice.1 It's time to step up the pressure.

Three big companies--UPS, Ford Motor Company, and Humana--are based in Louisville, Ky. and employ more than 50,000 of the area's residents.2 Each company's executives have expressed some support for the Black Lives Matter movement, but have stopped short of demanding justice for Breonna. These companies have a lot of power over public life in Louisville, which means hearing from them would greatly pressure Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, and Louisville Metro Police Department to do right by Breonna.

Based on their public statements, each company's executives want the public to see them as supportive of the movement to hold racist institutions accountable.3 Will you sign the petition to demand UPS, Ford, and Humana executives take a stand and actually push for the firing, arrest, and charging of the police officers who killed Breonna Taylor ?

Tell UPS, Ford, & Humana
"Demand the firing, arrest, and charging of the police officers
who killed Breonna Taylor."

Headquartered in Breonna's hometown, UPS pledged to give $3.2 million to racial justice organizations.4 Humana pledged $11.5 million to invest in the Louisville community.5The CEO of Ford company, which operates two plants in Louisville, has publicly expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement.6 These companies are obviously eager to show they're anti-racist--but for multi-billion dollar companies, it's easy to give money away. UPS, Ford, and Humana have stopped short of taking the bold step of demanding accountability for Breonna Taylor's murderers.

Since Breonna's death, her community and supporters all over the country won several things. Louisville banned the no-knock warrants that helped police kill Breonna Taylor.7 The LMPD dropped the charges against Breonna's partner, Kenneth Walker, who fired his gun in an attempt to protect himself and Breonna when the police barged into their home unannounced.8 LMPD released the 911 call Kenneth made that proves all this.9 LMPD Chief Steve Conrad, who was set to retire, was fired.10

All this shows what we can accomplish when we take action together. But there's more to do : Officers Brett Hankison, Jonathan Mattingly, and Myles Cosgrove, are walking around free after shooting Breonna and refusing to give her any medical aid before she died; Attorney General Cameron is taking his time with this investigation; and Mayor Fischer has refused to fire any of the officers for killing Breonna.

Thanks for speaking out !
