She was more than the moment we know her for. Week in Review

In the last days of the 2023 session, VOCAL-NY was back in Albany this week fighting hard for #GoodCauseEviction, the Safer Consumption Services Act, the Challenging Wrongful Convictions Act, and more to make New York State a more equitable place built with justice, compassion, and love.

In Memorial of Ms. Mary Hall It is with a heavy heart but also deep honor and appreciation that we remember Ms. Mary Hall. She passed away last month. Our deepest condolences to her family and friends and member-leaders who knew and loved her.   Ms. Mary was active as a member-leader with VOCAL-NY since 2009. She was most active in the Positive Leaders Union, She's So VOCAL, and the fight for Marijuana Justice, though she showed up and threw down for all of our issue areas.  May she rest in peace, and may we continue the fight in her name.
