Last week, we achieved a big victory. ICE Barbie, Kristi Noem, was fired.
Yet, as Members of Congress cast votes on funding for the Department
of Homeland Security (DHS), lawmakers tried to use the strikes against Iran
to pressure Congress into funding ICE and DHS.
The outcome: the Senate once again blocked additional funding for ICE and
DHS. Your leadership is needed right now to keep holding the line against
giving tens of billions of our taxpayer dollars to ICE and CBP.
The Trump Administration’s policies have wreaked havoc on our
communities. More funds for agencies that are terrorizing our
communities is not the answer. Tell your Senators: NO on funding
for ICE or endless wars.
Americans oppose sending more money to ICE and CBP. Activists are
rightly angry that the Trump administration is moving ahead with their
unprecedented resources and planning to spend hundreds of billions of
dollars to rip families apart. DHS already has an unthinkable $150
billion available for ICE and CBP from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act
(OBBBA) of 2025.
We must ensure that Senators continue blocking any additional
DHS funding bill unless it includes provisions that:
Ensure that not one more dollar is given to ICE or CBP
Repeals the tens of billions handed to ICE and CBP through the OBBBA, and redirect these clawed back funds to community needs
Prevents ICE or CBP enforcement at designated ‘sensitive locations’ such as houses of worship, day cares, and hospitals
Restricts ICE and Border Patrol’s ability to target people based on their race, language or accent, place of employment, or location at the time of the apprehension
Ends the administration’s unlawful practice of warrantless home entry and arrests
Enforces actual accountability for abuse by immigration agents
Mandates agents identify themselves, take off their masks, wear and use body cameras, and ensure that footage is available for investigations and accountability
Contact your Senators now to say you don’t support our taxpayer dollars being used to terrorize communities or fund illegal wars.
In Solidarity,
- Nancy Treviño, Stop the Money Pipeline.
