Gaza (WIN WIRHOUT WAR) : The horrifying collective punishment goes on.

As a surgeon myself, this is unimaginable.

Friend : Things in Gaza are dire.

The Israeli government’s siege continues to cut millions off from fuel, water, and food. Bombs rain down indiscriminately, even in supposedly “safe” areas where people were told to flee. Nowhere is safe — and millions of people, including many children, are struggling and scared.

And the terrifying reality is that it could all get worse. Despite the inspiring, passionate global outcry against this horrifying collective punishment, we are hearing reports that the Israeli government is STILL considering — with continued U.S. support — escalating the crisis further with a ground invasion into Gaza.

We, and all the people pushing for an end to this violence, are making progress, but we need to be faster to create the political solutions that will save lives — and we need your support today.

Can you rush a donation of $4, or any amount? Enough is enough. Every hour matters — can you help?

We were horrified by the Hamas attacks on October 7, and we know that what the Israeli government is doing now in Gaza isn’t justice. What we need right now is to prioritize safeguarding people's lives, to focus on reuniting hostages with their loved ones, and to get decision-makers to enact solutions that are rooted in recognizing everyone’s dignity and humanity.

Only then can we move forward in a way that builds a world where everyone can live and thrive without the fear of violence — in other words, a true, and lasting peace.

Many incredible organizations and people are joining in the demand for an immediate end to the violence, and the good news is that pressure from this movement is working — and in ways that we’ve rarely seen happen before.

A growing list of members of Congress are calling for everything from an end to collective punishment to a ceasefire. Biden administration staff are dissenting and protesting from inside and out — we’ve even seen public officials like Josh Paul, a now-former State Department official involved with transferring arms to U.S. allies, resign from their positions in protest.

But a ceasefire to stop the violence against everyday people in Gaza will still take more — more activism, more advocacy, and more resources. At Win Without War, we want to ensure the powerful demonstrations we are witnessing are supported with even more action so that no one can avoid our collective calls. Every hour matters. That’s why we need your help — depending on how much we raise, here’s just a snapshot of what we can do :

  • With $3,000 : We can blanket D.C. with posters, especially in areas where decision-makers can’t ignore our demands that they do all it takes for the violence to end.
  • With $10,000 : We can organize mobile billboards with those demands to drive around the Capitol and the White House.
  • With $15,000 : We can have those billboards follow members of Congress home to their districts — and remind them that we’re not letting up this fight for one second.
  • With $25,000 : We can fly constituents and impacted community members into Washington. We'll help get them in front of policymakers and the press, so they can tell their stories and share our calls for peace and urgent action in person.

We’ll be honest, while we do our best to prepare for the worst, none of this is in our budget. That means we need your help to amplify every call for peace so they can have as much impact as possible.

If you’re able, please rush a one-time or sustaining gift to Win Without War now.

We’re committed to using every tool we’ve got to help resolve this crisis — and we can’t do it without you. Please, donate now to help us do all we can to save lives.

Thank you for doing all you can to work for peace in a moment of crisis,

The Win Without War Team.
