However, insurance giant Liberty Mutual still thinks drilling in the Arctic could be a good idea. The Wilderness Society is fighting back. Sign the petition now to tell Liberty Mutual's CEO, David H. Many banks and insurance companies have publicly withdrawn support for these projects in solidarity with the local Gwich’in and Iñupiat communities. But not Liberty Mutual. They have refused to oppose drilling in the refuge. Meanwhile, CEO David H. Long has declined to meet with Indigenous people and hear their concerns. Liberty Mutual claims to foster inclusion, and they even allege to combat climate change. Their actions toward the Arctic Refuge expose these company values as empty promises.
