U.S : Support the END OIL AND GAS TAX SUBSIDIES ACT.

Tell Congress: End taxpayer subsidies for the oil and gas industry.

Friend,

Did you know that just by paying your taxes, the U.S. government is making you complicit in the destruction of our planet ? That’s because part of our tax dollars go to subsidize the humongous oil and gas sector that pollutes our environment, destroys our lungs, and whose product is the principal cause of the climate crisis.

Can you sign the petition from our friends at CREDO Mobile calling on Congress to end these senseless dirty energy subsidies once and for all ?

Americans don’t want to be complicit in destroying our environment. Sign the petition and demand that Congress pass the End Oil and Gas Tax Subsidies Act.

The nation’s ten most profitable oil and gas companies earned more than $800 billion in revenue last year. Incredibly, on top of that hefty amount, oil and gas companies enjoy more than a dozen subsidies that give them an unfair advantage in the energy market at the expense of clean renewable energy sources like wind and solar.

The End Oil and Gas Tax Subsidies Act would end all of that, eliminating the dirty energy subsidy provisions in the U.S. tax code and helping to break the industry’s stranglehold on our economy.

These tax breaks amount to roughly $20 billion of subsidies per year, money that could go toward studying, deploying, and subsidizing clean energy initiatives that could help us reach a carbon-free future even faster.

Let’s make sure Congress knows where our priorities are. Sign CREDO Mobile’s petition urging members of Congress to support the End Oil and Gas Tax Subsidies Act.

Thanks for taking action.
