Line 3 spells disaster both locally and globally. The massive tar sands pipeline :

• Violates the rights of the Anishinaabe people and jeopardizes their sacred wild rice beds, hunting and fishing grounds, and other cultural resources

• Endangers over 800 wetlands and 200 waterways

• Contributes as much climate pollution as 50 new coal-fired power plants combined -- or roughly 193 million tons of carbon emissions per year

We know the power of financial advocacy to protect sacred places like the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge -- where every major American and Canadian bank has ruled out funding drilling projects. Now we must use it to stop Line 3.
