Indonésie (INTERNATIONAL ELEPHANT PROJECT) : Four days left - and we're still short.

Dear friend,

Four days.

That’s all the time we have left before our 30 June deadline.

And right now, we are still short of what we need to convert our vehicle into a fire truck for Sumatra’s elephant rangers.

Every day, rangers like Nurhadi patrol Way Kambas National Park to protect some of the last Sumatran elephants on Earth. They put their lives on the line - facing poachers, illegal loggers, and now a fire season that scientists are warning could be the worst in a decade.

When fires sweep through elephant habitat, they destroy food sources, threaten wildlife, and put entire ranger teams at risk.

Yet Nurhadi and his fellow rangers will still be there, doing everything they can to protect these magnificent animals.

The question is: will we be able to give them the tools they need?

With a fire truck, they can reach fires faster, protect critical habitat, and help prevent devastating damage before it spreads.

This is why I’m asking for your help today.

Please, if you can, donate before 30 June to help get this vehicle into the workshop and transformed into a fire truck.

Every gift brings us closer.

Every donation helps equip rangers to defend the forests elephants depend on.

And every contribution sends a powerful message to Nurhadi and his team: you are not standing alone.

Donate Before 30 June

Together, we can make a difference before the dry season peaks and fires intensify.

With hope,

P.S. Nurhadi wrote to you recently. His message is simple. The threat is real. The need is urgent. Please take a moment to read his words below, and if you can, please donate today.

Dear friend,

My name is Nurhadi. I am a ranger with the Elephant Response Unit in Way Kambas National Park, Sumatra.

Every day I go into this forest. I see things that break my heart - poachers setting traps, illegal loggers taking trees, habitat disappearing season by season. My team and I do everything we can to stop it.

But I am not prepared for what is coming.

This fire season could be one of the worst in a decade. When fires break out in remote areas of the park, we respond. We always respond. My team knows what to do. But some fires are beyond our reach. Not because we lack the will, but because we lack the vehicle to get there in time.

A fire truck would change everything.

I am asking you today - please help get us one. We are still short of our target, and every gift brings us closer.

Donate Now

Every day, our rangers face what’s coming. Help them be ready.

If you can give us the right equipment, I give you my word: my team and I will do everything within our power to battle those fires. To protect this forest. To protect the elephants and wildlife that depend on it.

We will not give up.

Help Nurhadi and His Team Fight Back

You don’t have to be in the forest to protect it. Your gift puts you on the frontline alongside every ranger who patrols Way Kambas. We couldn’t do this without you. Together, we are one team.

Terima kasih — thank you.

From the frontline,

P.S. Dear friend, every fire we stop is habitat saved. Every hectare saved is a future for these elephants. Your support makes that possible. Thank you for standing with us.
