As part of the Americans for Financial Reform Education Fund Speaker Series, on March 4, we will be holding a webinar on the growth of unregulated credit and what it means for the long term future of the entire financial ecosystem. This is a particularly timely conversation, as more and more companies are raising money in the growing private credit market rather than from banks. Natalia Renta, AFR/AFREF’s Associate Director of Corporate Governance and Power, will lead a discussion with Dr. Lenore M. Palladino, Associate Professor of Economics & Public Policy at University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they will delve into what impacts we can expect from the rapid expansion of private credit and why financial justice advocates should be concerned.
It’s an honor to bring Dr. Lenore Palladino’s expertise and knowledge to this virtual briefing as part of our Americans for Financial Reform Education Fund Speaker Series.
Thank you for everything you do in the fight for financial justice. -Ericka Ericka Taylor (she/her)
