Children in Gaza are dying. Not only from war, but from the freezing cold and collapsing buildings.
As winter tightens its grip, families in Gaza are facing freezing temperatures, relentless rain, and conditions no child should be forced to endure. This winter, eight babies have died from hypothermia. With food and basic essentials increasingly out of reach, 4 in 5 children in Gaza are entering 2026 hungry.
After months of bombardment and restricted aid, there is nowhere safe left for children to go. Tents offer little protection from wind and rain. Buildings weakened by airstrikes are still standing until they suddenly fall.
Despite enormous challenges and restrictions, our teams together with trusted local partners are still on the ground in Gaza, delivering lifesaving support wherever possible.
Between October and December 2025 alone, thanks to supporters like you, we distributed 4,100 hygiene kits, 6,000 feminine hygiene kits, and vital medical supplies to families struggling to survive.
