Dear friend, how many more children need to be killed ?
Since the beginning of the war, over 18,000 children have been killed, while over 14,000 more children are at risk of dying from severe malnutrition in the coming weeks and months if the conditions imposed by the Government of Israel don’t drastically improve. Every child in Gaza is at risk of being killed by this horrific war. It must stop now.

| We spoke to a a 25-year-old mother of four in northern Gaza, whose children were receiving treatment for malnutrition at Save the Children’s healthcare clinic during the brief pause in fighting, and she said : We know what hunger feels like - we’ve tasted death. Our children are just waiting their turn to die.

| Since 2 March, Israeli authorities have imposed a total siege, blocking the entry of food, water, fuel, and medical supplies, while continued bombardment and mass forced displacement further restrict access to civilians.
While we welcome any increase in aid, what has been proposed so far – 1% of the needed amount of aid – is nowhere near enough. Access to aid is critical right now, and the trickle coming in could be the difference between life and death for some children.
This is a deliberate humanitarian catastrophe. We have the food. We have the aid. What we don’t have is access. Children in Gaza are starving. |
