Dear friend, children in Gaza are being killed as airstrikes resume.
More than 500 Palestinians have been killed in the latest Israeli airstrikes—around 40% are children and 30% are women. Hundreds more people have been injured.
Families who hoped for relief are once again trapped in horrific, inescapable violence.
The blockade on aid is back. Food, medical care, and fuel for hospitals are running out fast. Israeli forces have ordered more forced displacements. Over 100,000 children are trapped in North Gaza. Gaza’s children are paying the highest price.
These airstrikes come as hundreds of thousands of Palestinians remain displaced, with only tents standing between them and explosive weapons.
Children are the most vulnerable to explosive weapons. Their lighter bodies are thrown further by the blasts and their bones are softer and bend more easily, with higher risk of secondary injuries and long-term disabilities. Their small bodies have less blood to lose – a death sentence when emergency services can’t safely operate and reach them.
Save the Children unequivocally condemns this violence against innocent civilians. International humanitarian law is being violated—again and again. There is no justification for atrocity crimes.
A definitive ceasefire is the only way to protect children, and we won’t stop fighting for it. As we demand an end to the violence and push for unrestricted humanitarian access, your support is more critical than ever.
Your donation helps provide food, medical care, and psychological support to children in Gaza and across the world—and strengthens our efforts to advocate for their protection.

Since January 19 this year, thanks to your help, we have provided essential lifesaving aid to over 51,000 people. This includes distributing winter clothing to over 15,000 children in Gaza, and food parcels to over 23,000 people. But millions more still need help.
This cannot be the world children grow up in. We cannot turn away.
Thank you,
