Wednesday, September 27 @ 10AM: Rally at City Hall to demand passage of Int. 549 to ban solitary confinement in City Jails. 15 people have died in the jails already this year ! After the rally we will be testifying in support of the bill. Week in Review.

This past Tuesday, VOCAL-NY celebrated it's annual gala with members, leaders, allies, and supporters. The Joe Bostic & Joe Capestany award - named for two of the founders of VOCAL-NY - went to the OnPoint Centers for their work saving lives at the nation's first overdose prevention centers. It was a wonderful night to celebrate the achievements of the last year, and re-center for what's to come in 2023.
