Ces visages me parlent.

U.S : take action NOW, tell ENTERPRISE to Stand Up to TRUMP !

VP Sal Hernandez and Enterprise Holdings to :

Stop Profiting from Trump's Raids on Migrants !

Enterprise is driving Trump's raids on the migrant community

Dear friend,

I just started a petition titled "Tell Enterprise to Stand Up to Trump!"

Enterprise -- they'll pick you up...and drop you off at a detention center.

Last week, the Trump administration announced plans for its latest attack on the migrant community -- unconstitutional ICE raids that would begin this weekend in at least 10 major cities across the country. Since he has taken office, Trump has enacted brutal, dehumanizing policies that have separated families at the border, prosecuted and deported people en masse and without due process, and resulted in the deaths and incarceration of adults and children in facilities that can only be described as concentration camps. These raids are part of a larger plan to follow through on one of the worst human rights abuses the United States has seen in recent memory. And Enterprise Holdings is leasing him the vans to do it.

Tell Enterprise to cut all business ties related to Trump’s raids immediately.

Over the course of his presidency, Trump has made it crystal clear what his intentions for migrants crossing the border are. He knows that the terror, suffering and premature death that he has inflicted on the migrant community, many of whom are Black and from majority Black countries, galvanizes and empowers his base who see migrants as less than human and who have carried out horrific acts of violence against our family members, loved ones and neighbors. In a moment when they should be taking a stance against Trump’s genocidal policies, Enterprise Holdings is planning to profit from the pain that these raids will inflict by leasing vans to the Department of Homeland Security that I.C.E. intends to use to steal people from their homes and their families.

Will you sign the petition and forward this email to make sure your voice is heard? Add your name here.

In its Suppliers Code of Ethics, Enterprise claims that it selects “suppliers and partners who share our values and our commitment to uphold the highest standards of quality, integrity, excellence, safety, legal compliance, and respect for human rights, as well as to respect the customs and culture of the communities we serve.” It also promises prospective employees and customers that it has “a corporate culture with family values at the core.” How can this be when the company is willing to give ICE the vehicles needed to transport people to detention camps that fundamentally violate their basic rights and dignity and that destroy countless families’ ability to stay together ? Let Enterprise know that enough is enough. They have a duty to stand up for what is right. Sign now to demand that Enterprise stop doing business with the Department of Homeland Security today.

Trump is escalating his attacks on our communities. We cannot allow companies to profit from the destruction of our families. Tell Enterprise to Dump Trump NOW!

Thank you,

Adrian Reyna Chavoya

COMME SI DE RIEN N’ÉTAIT, un poème de GREGPHILE (Haïti).

tous les jours
toujours au même endroit
presqu'à la même heure
sur la pointe des pieds
le soleil arrive lentement
au fin fond de l'infini
en file indienne
secondes, minutes, heures et...
toutes se balancent
et ne reviendront plus jamais.
ainsi va la vie
hier
aujourd'hui
demain

U.S : EPSTEIN abused girls. He let him go.

Dear friend,

Last year, tens of thousands of UltraViolet members signed the petition demanding Alexander Acosta be removed as Secretary of Labor for letting billionaire child rapist Jeffrey Epstein off the hook more than ten years ago. Now, with new charges filed against Epstein this week for operating a child sex trafficking ring where he abused dozens of underage girls,1 there's new momentum to get his enabler, Acosta, impeached.

Tell Congress : "Alexander Acosta cannot be trusted to enforce our laws. Impeach Acosta now."
Sign the petition

This is big news. As a wealthy billionaire financier, Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused and trafficked at least 80 girls, some as young as 13 years old.2 He preyed on vulnerable children, many homeless without a support system. He coerced them into sexual acts and forced them into recruiting more girls.3 As U.S. Attorney in Miami in 2008, Acosta showed a total disregard for these underage survivors by offering Epstein a plea deal with a mere 13-month sentence, allowing Epstein to leave the prison six days a week, ignoring most of Epstein's crimes, and ending an FBI probe that was already in motion which would have potentially found even more powerful people involved in Epstein's trafficking ring.4

Acosta's actions deprived many survivors of their ability to see any form of justice for the abuse they endured. This is a travesty, but instead of apologizing for his actions, Acosta has only doubled down by making excuses for his shameful deal with Epstein.5 The reality is that Acosta allowed Epstein to use his vast resources and connections to manipulate our broken criminal justice system and to protect other powerful men.

Epstein is finally facing justice for sexually abusing at least 80 young girls. But we must make sure that his enablers, like Secretary Acosta, are held accountable too. As Secretary of Labor, Acosta is in charge of protecting workers across the country and stopping human trafficking. With a past like this he cannot be trusted to uphold our laws. Acosta needs to go. Immediately.

If we generate enough public outrage we can make sure Congress holds hearings on Acosta and ultimately forces him out of office.

Thanks for speaking out !
