Friend, during a stomach-churning interview with right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, known bigot Kanye West praised
Adolf Hitler, saying “I like Hitler” and “We got to stop dissing the
Nazis all the time.” He went on to parrot claims about “the Jewish
media” and credit Hitler with inventions he had no part in creating.
The interview is West’s latest—and most extreme—in a long line of disturbing and hateful antisemitic comments.

There are real consequences for this behavior. Today,
right now, in our lifetime, in American streets, Jews are being attacked
simply for being Jewish. The white nationalist who entered the Tree of
Life - Or L’Simcha building in 2018 was motivated in part by the “Great
Replacement Theory,” a dangerous antisemitic conspiracy theory that
spread from the fringes of the far-right to become a core GOP message
embraced openly by Tucker Carlson and prominent Republican members of
Congress. Now Ye is using his considerable reach to spread the same
fear, division, and lies.
Still, Republican presidential candidates pal around with him, his music stays on streaming platforms, and media outlets continue to grant him airtime and coverage. It was only this past October that the Republican House Judiciary committee tweeted their support for him.
Of course, Ye isn't only an antisemite. He also happily espouses misogyny and white supremacy every chance he gets. Losing sponsorships and friends hasn't deterred him. If anything, it has emboldened his bigotry and hate-mongering. Enough. It's time to deplatform him entirely.
