U.S (NATIONAL LATINA INSTITUTE FOR REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE) : We’re getting louder about abortion access in 2023.

Friend,      The end of the year is a time to celebrate our successes, toast to our health, and reflect on the roads we’ve traveled the previous 12 months.   But here at the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Justice, the end of 2022 feels a bit harder, because this year we lost the constitutional right to abortion in this country for the first time in generations.    We at Latina Institute build Latina/x power to fight for the fundamental human right to reproductive health, dignity, and justice. We center Latina/x voices, mobilize our communities, transform the cultural narrative, and drive policy change.    Thankfully, we’ve seen our community across the country get louder about abortion access and reproductive justice this year. And as we all reflect on the year and look ahead to what 2023 has in store for us, we want you to join us.    Sign our Latina/x Reproductive Justice Solidarity Pledge now and join this fight for our rights before the end of the year! SIGN ON       This pledge is an urgent message to elected officials and decision-makers that we as Latinas/xs and allies are fighting to ensure that all people can exercise autonomy over our bodies and have equal access to reproductive health as a human right.    Politicians should not interfere in any Latinas/xs ability to exercise the deeply personal decisions related to reproductive health, dignity, and justice.    For too long, Latinas/xs have faced persistent barriers that intentionally rob us of the resources we need to stay healthy, make free decisions over whether, and when to have children and raise families with dignity and safety.    This year proved the importance of grassroots action toward reproductive justice. Fighting for a healthcare system that treats everyone with respect, allowing us access to the reproductive care we need, is going to take all of us.    This is our last chance to make our voices heard in 2022. Now more than ever, when politicians and anti-choice opponents have support from the Supreme Court to attack our right to an abortion, we need to have as many people alongside us as possible, lifting up each other’s voices.      So, with 2022 winding down, please take a minute to sign on to our Latina/x Reproductive Justice Solidarity Pledge.
