Donald Trump’s AI plan is a dangerous giveaway to Big Tech. It hands control of artificial intelligence over to companies like Google and Elon Musk’s xAI without any public oversight or accountability. It’s not innovation. It’s corporate capture of the future. We’re fighting back. We are calling out this power grab for what it is, a blatant attempt to turn public policy over to billionaires and strip away democratic control of artificial intelligence. Trump’s AI plan would allow companies that have already caused massive harm to set their own rules. Musk’s chatbot Grok spewed racist and violent content. Days later, his company xAI was awarded a two hundred million dollar federal contract. Trump’s AI plan would make this the norm. This is not about building safe, responsible, or accountable AI. It is about letting billionaires build an unregulated empire of surveillance, discrimination, and financial exploitation. This is a corporate coup in real time. Take action now to make sure that Congress stops Trump’s plan and blocks Google and Musk from
AI must not undermine civil rights, destroy jobs, exacerbate racial biases, rip people off, erode personal privacy, toxify the public discourse, or undermine democracy. But Trump’s plan would concentrate power in the hands of the same tech monopolists who profit from disinformation, discrimination, and economic inequality. Musk and Google do not need more power. They need oversight. This is about protecting people from the known and emerging harms from corporate-driven AI systems that discriminate, harm workers, gouge consumers, abuse personal data and so much more. It is about making sure AI development is not driven by billionaires with no concern for people or the public interest. We have seen this before. Trump is working to dismantle financial protections. Musk has aimed to destroy the CFPB. Together, they are using AI as the next frontier in corporate control. We cannot let them win. Sign now to demand Congress stop Trump’s AI takeover and efforts to let artificial intelligence run wild. Let's demand a future free from the menace of discriminatory and dangerous AI.
