U.S (MAKE RHE ROAD NEW YORK) : TODAY PLEASE VOTE !

Dear friend,

Election Day is finally here !

Nearly 1.2 million voters across New York State have already cast their ballots during early voting. And millions more are expected to vote today, Election Day. If you are eligible to vote, and didn’t get a chance yet, today is the day ! Make your way to the polls to vote in-person or drop off your absentee ballot to stand up for New York's immigrant, Black, brown, and working-class communities !

The General Election includes elections for the following offices, and you can view the list of candidates that will be on your ballot here!

  • Governor & Lieutenant Governor
  • US Senate
  • Congress
  • New York State Senate & Assembly
  • Judges
  • Ballot proposals
  • And much more !

These elections will come down to the wire, and your vote can really make the difference. Critical issues for our communities are on the ballot this year, like our fights to expand the rights of tenants, expand protections for immigrants and workers, end the school-to-prison pipeline, decriminalize sex work, and more.

Make sure you have a plan to vote today ! There are several factors you'll want to pay attention to when creating your Election Day plan :

  • WHERE is your local polling location ? Find it in New York City or Upstate/Long Island.
  • WHEN will you vote ? Schedule ahead of time to avoid time conflicts. The polls are open from 6 AM to 9 PM !
  • HOW will you get to your local polling site ? Will you walk, bike, take the bus, or drive ?

For voter information please dial :

  • ENGLISH: 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683)
  • SPANISH: 888-VE-Y-VOTA (888-839-8682)

Finally, once you’ve voted, please text or call three of your friends or loved ones to make sure they’ve voted, too !

Thank you for all your support, and thank you for voting for respect and dignity today.

¡ Sí se puede !
