Kawaski Trawick was
a Black gay man, a son, and a brother pursuing his dreams as a dancer
in New York City. That dream, and his life, was cut short at the hands
of NYPD Officers Brendan Thompson and Herbert Davis. We are calling on Mayor Eric Adams to fire Brendan Thompson and Herbert Davis -- the NYPD officers who killed him. But so far the Mayor has refused to do so. He has even refused to say Kawaski's name in public. In order to keep this case front and center during Pride month, we are supporting a short media campaign to lift up Kawaski's name at every activity the Mayor partakes in. This will include mobile billboards following him around to his favorite spots and flyering at events the Mayor is attending. |
