U.S : If only white folks had voted...

Last month, after the huge election victories in Virginia, did you catch the exit polls ? Here take a look : 2017 Virginia Governor’s Race Exit Poll1 If only white men and women had voted, Republican Ed Gillespie - and his race-baiting campaign2 - would have won Virginia's Governor's race by a landslide. Black voters are why Ed Gillespie lost Virginia’s Gubernatorial election last month. Black voters end up making the critical difference in almost every election. And that's why I’m writing to you, in December of 2017, to ask you to start thinking about 2018 already. Republicans have already been mobilizing for months. And, after last month’s losses, they're sure spend even more on the 2018 elections. We can't take last month’s wins for granted. We have to double down and invest in what we know works. Chip in $1 (or whatever you can) so that Color Of Change PAC can invest in state-of-the-art Black voter outreach and mobilization. This will be crucial to taking back power and soundly beating Trumpism in 2018. Roy Moore faces an election today, and Color Of Change PAC has done work to ensure that he loses. We put out digital ads across Alabama to register Black voters a couple weeks ago before the voter registration deadline. In 2018, we need to make sure we defeat every candidate like Ed Gillespie, Roy Moore, and the rest. No exceptions. And Color Of Change PAC is going to be doing that work if we can raise $175,000 by the end of the month. We need to demilitarize our police and hold them accountable.
