Week in Review

This week, President Biden announced his administration will pardon federal marijuana possession offenses, reconsider marijuana’s drug scheduling, and urge state governors to also pardon state-level offenses. For years, VOCAL-NY members and leaders have implored state and federal leaders to exonerate low-level Marijuana offenses and begin to restore their damage to Black and Latino communities. This announcement brings the country one step closer to providing #MarijuanaJustice for all.
