U.S : Say NO to TRUMP's Bigoted Border Closing Threats

This week, Donald Trump threatened to close all border crossings with Mexico, in a bigoted and cynical attempt to appeal to his base. 

As Donald Trump shifts into election mode for 2020, we can expect his rhetoric to get more blusterous and hateful. This week, he started escalating his rhetoric by making outrageous threats toward Mexico.

Border closings would be detrimental to the thousands of families and businesses that rely on cross-border movement and trade. In addition, such a move would alienate our neighbor and close ally, Mexico.

We cannot allow Donald Trump's hatred to go unchallenged. We must let our neighbors know they are more than welcome here, they are invited. Our ties with Mexico are one of our greatest strengths. We cannot let Trump divide us.
