U.S : It’ll be BLACK PEOPLE who WON this ELECTION.

The historic wins we've seen this month — Georgia flipping Blue, record Black voter turnout, grassroots organizing in the face of voter suppression — were powered by Black organizers and the movement you've helped us build. Let's keep the momentum going!

CHIP IN $5 A MONTH TO POWER THE MOVEMENT

We made it, dear friend.

We did the work. We cast our ballots. We made our voices heard. And now, we wait for results to be certified to put an end to the terror this administration has inflicted on so many of our communities.

Make no mistake : We, Black people, chose our next president and a new path forward — and we the people will insist that every vote is counted.

Dear friend, our opponents know the power we hold. That’s why they unleashed unprecedented attacks on Black and Brown voters and did everything they could to stop us from casting our ballots. Even now, they're peddling lies to sow distrust in the system. But through it all, Black people — one of the most disenfranchised communities in this country — did everything we could to save our democracy. And we always do.

In a moment, I’ll explain how Black communities got it done — but first, I have to ask you to become a monthly supporter of Color Of Change to power our critical work.

When elected officials tried to suppress Black voters, we fought back by voting in droves and bringing our loved ones to the polls in record numbers. Just look at how Black organizers and voters flipped Georgia blue for the first time in nearly 30 years.1

When law enforcement tried to intimidate us, we organized. Fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with Black organizers on the ground, we centered Black joy and trained Color Of Change members  to make calls, send texts, and get out the vote across the country.

And when prosecutors fail Black people, we vote them out. Take a look at what happened in Los Angeles : District Attorney Jackie Lacey declined to bring charges against cops who murdered more than 600 people. This month, she was voted out. Bye, Lacey !2

These wins were only made possible by deep, long-term organizing and the powerful movement we've built together. And while the momentum is on our side right now, we still have a lot of work left to do. To build a more equitable world for Black people, we have to stay prepared and ready for the road ahead.

This fight didn't end on Election Day, and we can't do it alone. That's why I have to ask, dear friend : Can we count on you become a monthly supporter of Color Of Change?

Most of our monthly donors give anywhere from $3 to $25 a month. But no matter what amount you are able to give, your monthly support will be used to power our existing campaigns, plan for the future, and make sure Color Of Change has the resources we need to keep fighting for Black people :

Dear friend, Election Day was only step one. Now, we’re taking notice of who we have to hold accountable and keeping tabs on who fails Black people. And we're just getting started.

If your budget allows it, consider becoming a monthly supporter of Color Of Change today. We can't organize for justice or invest in Black futures without help from supporters like you.

As always, thank you for staying in the trenches with us to demand justice for Black people.

Until justice is real,

Scott, Rashad, Arisha, Erika, Malachi, Madison, Ernie, Ariel, Ericka, Ana, McKayla, and the rest of the Color Of Change team.
