U.S (PROGRESS AMERICA) : SCOTUS has dealt a blow to our climate response.

 

 

 

Friend,       After the Supreme Court’s disastrous term, we must turn to the wisdom of beloved actor Danny DeVito :     President Biden and Congress must do as the founders intended and stand up to this unelected, unaccountable body.   In the wake of the Supreme Court’s terrible rulings on guns and abortion, their final ruling of them was a bit overlooked : In West Virginia v. EPA, they ruled that the Clean Air Act did not actually give the Environmental Protection Agency the power to regulate emissions.   This decision is plainly wrong. It’s another example of this Supreme Court siding with corporate polluters against the people. It’s time for Congress to do the jobs we elected them to and defend our climate.       Sign and send the petition to Congress: SCOTUS has dealt a blow to our climate response.
