Friend, sign the petition to Congress: Protect workers from Amazon’s dangerous surveillance practices.   SIGN THE PETITION                       Amazon’s use of surveillance leads to the abuse, injury, and exploitation of workers.   Amazon engineered a punishing system to increase workers’ speed and control their physical movements in increments of seconds, even going so far as to determine if there is enough time for an employee to use the bathroom. This surveillance system leads to worker injuries at rates nearly double industry average, with more than 24,000 serious injuries in warehouses last year. Moreover, Amazon has repeatedly used this data to retaliate against workers who speak out and organize—particularly Black workers who spoke out to protect their colleagues and communities during the pandemic.
