Dear friend, you can learn a lot about someone based on what they fight for.   Just look at last summer : Millions of folks like you took to the streets to demand justice for Black lives, powering the largest movement in U.S. history.1    But while we took direct action to dismantle white supremacy, others fought to uphold it. Senate Republicans just blocked a bipartisan commission to investigate the January 6 Capitol insurrection. At the same time, GOP lawmakers across the country introduced 81 new anti-protest bills to threaten our right to demand justice for Black people.2       Dear friend, Color Of Change is fighting to strike down anti-protest bills that target Black organizers and activists, but we need your help. But our fight for justice is far from over.       Friend, we know you’re committed to the fight for justice and the right to organize against police violence and anti-Black racism.
