U.S (Migrants) : These groups are providing food, shelter, and clothing at the U.S. - Mexico border. Here’s how you can help :

 

Friend, the Biden administration has officially rescinded Title 42, a public health order that allowed the DHS to expel asylum-seekers, which led to an increase in deteriorating conditions at the U.S.-Mexico border. Title 42 caused the expulsion of more than 2 million migrants at the U.S.-Mexico border.    This is wonderful news - and a relief to the humanitarian and immigrant justice groups that have provided humanitarian assistance to the thousands that have been turned away at the border. Groups like Al Otro Lado and Immigrant Defenders who are doing the critical work of providing legal representation, shelter, clothing, and feeding the thousands of refugees at the border daily. This work will be even more critical now, as CBP is woefully unprepared to support the influx of refugees at the border and have a poor track record of maintaining humanitarian conditions.   You have written letters, signed petitions, and showed up at rallies calling on the executive branch to end vicious policies like Title 42.
