U.S (HIP HOP CAUCUS) : A National Day of Action to STOP DIRTY BANKS !

 

 

 

Friend,   Big Banks have spent decades funding climate chaos, and we’re demanding an end. Hip Hop Caucus is joining organizations across the nation for a National Day of Action on March 21, 2023, and demanding banks stop funding climate chaos. Some of the biggest banks in the nation—Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, Wells Fargo—are using money from our communities to fund new pipelines, oil drilling, fracking, coal plants, and other climate-killing activities. On March 21st, individuals and advocacy groups across the country are staging actions to cut up their credit cards (symbolically or literally) and showing these banks the cost of their actions if they continue to cash in on the climate crisis. This Day of Action will raise the visibility of the dirty banks’ role in climate destruction, and grow our movement for climate justice and solutions. More importantly, we’re going to send a message to Dirty Banks : Quit funding fossil fuels or we will quit your banks! Join us on March 21st for our Day of Action to Stop Dirty Banks!
