Friend,
Big Banks have spent decades funding climate chaos, and we’re demanding an end. Some of the biggest banks in the nation—Bank of America, Chase, Citibank, Wells Fargo—are using money from our communities to fund new pipelines, oil drilling, fracking, coal plants, and other climate-killing activities. On March 21st, individuals and advocacy groups across the country are staging actions to cut up their credit cards (symbolically or literally) and showing these banks the cost of their actions if they continue to cash in on the climate crisis. This Day of Action will raise the visibility of the dirty banks’ role in climate destruction, and grow our movement for climate justice and solutions. More importantly, we’re going to send a message to Dirty Banks : Quit funding fossil fuels or we will quit your banks! For future generations,
Rev Yearwood
