Friend,
As climate change continues to accelerate, we are in a race against time to transform our economy and protect our planet for future generations. That’s why we need your support more than ever to pass the Green New Deal.
Reintroduced by Senator Ed Markey and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Green New Deal is an ambitious proposal with a clear vision : 100% clean, renewable energy within 10 years, millions of high-paying union jobs, and a commitment to addressing both economic and climate justice.
Its impact would be unprecedented -- it would revolutionize our energy sector, turbocharge our economy with green jobs, help to eradicate income inequality, and ensure a liveable world for our children.
Yes, it's ambitious, and yes, it will require significant investment. But every great leap forward in our nation's history required daring dedication and the courage to make substantial investments in our collective future.

This isn't just a policy debate. It's a fight for the future of our planet and the well-being of every person on Earth. Climate change isn't a distant, abstract threat. It's here, and we are witnessing its disastrous effects in the form of extreme weather, wildfires, and rising sea levels.
Critics of the Green New Deal claim its costs are too high and they create an insurmountable barrier. Yet, they fail to factor in the immense cost of inaction. The economic damage due to climate change -- including property destruction, healthcare costs, and loss of productivity -- will be, and in some cases already is, far higher than the cost of implementing the Green New Deal.
The Green New Deal recognizes the importance of the economy in addressing climate change, that’s why it will create millions of well-paying jobs in renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable infrastructure, and other green sectors. This approach ensures a just transition for workers in fossil fuel industries, providing them with new employment opportunities and securing a stable future for all.
It will also address economic and climate justice by prioritizing vulnerable communities that have historically borne the brunt of environmental degradation and economic inequality. By investing in these communities and ensuring their access to clean air, water, and green spaces, we can rectify past injustices and build a fairer society.
Let's stand together and make history by passing the Green New Deal now !
