Students in our communities need new supplies every year, but this year the need is even greater.

Dear friend,   As we get closer to the fall, many students in New York will begin a new school year. Students in our communities need new supplies every year, but this year the need is even greater. We are significantly increasing the number of backpacks and supplies we distribute in order to support newly arrived asylum-seekers, the vast majority of whom are still living in shelters and have not been able to work, as they prepare their kids for the school year.  You can help a student and their families feel a little more prepared to take on this new school year by donating $25!  Your donation will go a long way as this will cover a “Back to School” package which will include essentials for their new school year :  One backpack Two composition notebooks Two pocket folders Writing supplies  Can your employer donate school supplies ?
