U.S (HIP HOP CAUCUS) : Mobilizing against COP CITY in ATLANTA before it’s too late.

 

 

 

Friend, we have to talk about Cop City. Right now, the Atlanta Police Department is about to start bulldozing an Atlanta forest to build a new policy training facility. Already, at least one protester, Tortuguita, has been killed by police. If completed, Cop City will serve as a massive complex for training police in militarized tactics to be deployed across the country, at the expense of Atlanta’s local environment. We can’t let that happen. A powerful coalition for justice has organized a week of action as a heroic attempt to stop Cop City from being built, by demanding action from our political leaders and raising awareness. If you’re near Atlanta, bring your friends & allies to a solidarity event against Cop City >> And there are dozens of other ways to get involved from afar, targeting the contractors and businesses who are willingly supporting the project >> However you choose to get involved, thank you.
