Since the fall of Roe v. Wade, twenty-four states have abortion bans, forcing some of their residents to travel to other states where abortion is legal.

The same Republicans that have been banning abortion in their states are trying to pass legislation that would prevent people seeking abortions from traveling to another state for care.

Democratic Reps. Jamie Raskin and Lizzie Fletcher have re-introduced The Ensuring Women’s Right to Reproductive Freedom Act to protect the right to cross state lines for abortion care.
