U.S (YOUTH PROGRESSIVE ACTION CATALYST) : The impact of AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.

Friend,

Earlier this week, the Supreme Court made a ruling that eliminated race as a basis for granting admission in colleges and universities. Clearly, this is a mass blow to progress, equal opportunity, and dismantling systemic racism. But the fight isn’t over yet.

Congress still has the power to enact critical protections for affirmative action policies, especially ones that are proven to greatly benefit oppressed communities. Sign your name here to demand that Congress take action >>

This ruling undermines the Fourteenth Amendment's guarantee of equal protection and disregards the historical context and purpose of affirmative action — to address systemic and historical inequalities. But the conservative majority on the Supreme Court doesn’t care about that – all they care about is doing the bidding of their dark money friends.

Everyone deserves a chance to succeed in society. But right now, conservative forces are trying to attack the progress we have made in building a society where everyone, regardless of race or gender, has an equal opportunity to succeed.

Sign our petition to protect affirmative action and ensure our colleges and universities remain diverse and inclusive today >>

We won’t stand on the sidelines as the Court attacks the progress that movements have spent decades fighting for.

You rock,
