Friend, Earlier this week, the Supreme Court made a ruling that eliminated race as a basis for granting admission in colleges and universities. Clearly, this is a mass blow to progress, equal opportunity, and dismantling systemic racism. But the fight isn’t over yet. Congress still has the power to enact critical protections for affirmative action policies, especially ones that are proven to greatly benefit oppressed communities. But the conservative majority on the Supreme Court doesn’t care about that – all they care about is doing the bidding of their dark money friends. Everyone deserves a chance to succeed in society.
