U.S (AOTL) : Momentum.

Dr. King believed the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. That is true -- but only when people put their hands on that arc and pull it toward justice.

Take action today to protect voting rights

Civil rights leaders -- in Congress and across the country -- are demanding action to protect voting rights.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer plans to reconvene the Senate tomorrow to begin reforming the rules currently enabling Republicans to obstruct action.

When Senators return to their offices tomorrow, we want their inboxes and voicemails to be flooded with support for the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act. Will you help make that happen ?

DEMAND ACTION »
TELL YOUR SENATORS :

➡️ Protecting voting rights needs to be one of Congress’s top priorities.

➡️ You support the Freedom to Vote : John R. Lewis Act  because this bill would end congressional gerrymandering, restore accountability in our government, and protect the right to vote.

➡️ Voters deserve to have their voices heard in the political process -- and this bill is essential to making that possible.

There are two ways you can take action today. Sign our petition supporting voting rights and our tool will send the petition to your senators. You can also use our call tool to be directly connected to their offices.

The Freedom to Vote : John R. Lewis Act is the most comprehensive democracy reform legislation in decades.

At a time when gerrymandered state legislatures are doubling down on both voter suppression and manipulated maps, it could not be more urgent to put this legislation on the president's desk.

Call your senators and leave a message expressing your support for the Freedom to Vote: John R. Lewis Act.

We are finally seeing real momentum in the Senate to pass these bills -- but we need to make sure Congress is hearing from more people who SUPPORT these bills than from special interests and career politicians in gerrymandered districts who oppose these reforms.

As A.G. Holder likes to remind us, the arc of the moral universe only bends toward justice when people pull it toward justice.

Thank you for taking action today,
