Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer plans to reconvene the Senate tomorrow to begin reforming the rules currently enabling Republicans to obstruct action.

The Freedom to Vote : John R. Lewis Act is the most comprehensive democracy reform legislation in decades.
At a time when gerrymandered state legislatures are doubling down on both voter suppression and manipulated maps, it could not be more urgent to put this legislation on the president's desk.
We are finally seeing real momentum in the Senate to pass these bills -- but we need to make sure Congress is hearing from more people who SUPPORT these bills than from special interests and career politicians in gerrymandered districts who oppose these reforms.
As A.G. Holder likes to remind us, the arc of the moral universe only bends toward justice when people pull it toward justice.
