Wednesday, March 1 @ 9 AM: Disband the SRG Rally & Hearing: The SRG is a violent unit of the NYPD tasked with policing protests in NYC. It brutalized NYers during the 2020 protests. With a history of racial bias, and misconduct, this militarized unit has no place in our communities. Let's call on City Council to disband it and reinvest its funds. Week in Review

This week, VOCAL-NY leaders were up in Albany again speaking with lawmakers, this time on the Invest In Our New York campaign. Since Governor Hochul's executive budget dropped, and Senate and Assembly lawmakers are working their own budgets, it's incredibly important they make the ultra-wealthy pay what they owe!
