Over 1400 Israelis were killed by Hamas on October 7th, and over 8,000 Palestinians, including more than 3,000 children, have been killed by the Israeli military since then. And without a ceasefire, we will only see more death and bloodshed. That’s why Cori introduced the Ceasefire Now resolution in Congress, because we urgently need to call for de-escalation and an immediate ceasefire in Israel and Occupied Palestine, and for humanitarian assistance to urgently be delivered to the 2.3 million people under siege and trapped in Gaza.
