U.S (Breonna TAYLOR's case) : Drop Daniel CAMERON !

Dear friend,

Keep up the fight for Breonna Taylor by calling on Kentucky Gov. Beshear to remove Attorney General Daniel Cameron and assign a new special prosecutor !

Dear friend, we have to make a quick pivot in our fight to demand justice. Here’s the reality — sadly, Gov. Beshear does not have the power to remove Daniel Cameron from the case and appoint a special prosecutor.

So, who does have the power to appoint a special prosecutor ? Unfortunately, it’s Daniel Cameron — yes, the same prosecutor who denied Bre justice once already ! Only Cameron can appoint a special prosecutor in Kentucky. Effectively, there is no check on Daniel Cameron’s actions as a prosecutor in this case and Gov. Beshear can’t step in to deliver justice in our fight for Bre.

As we’ve said before and as we can see so clearly here — the system is broken and does not serve the needs of Black people. Breonna Taylor needs justice, and we’ll keep fighting for it. Unfortunately, the person who can deliver justice has already decided Bre’s life wasn’t worth protecting and has sided with the killer cops.

Now here’s our pivot, dear friend : We must demand Daniel Cameron recuse himself from the case and assign a new special prosecutor. We have to do everything in our power to make the stakes high for Daniel Cameron, an elected official, where he has no choice but to answer our demands. And today, that starts with signing the petition and getting your friends to do the same :

Until justice is real,
