DONATE TO OUR
BLACK CAREGIVERS HOLIDAY FUND
Dear friend,
Mass incarceration harms our communities and traumatizes Black families. That’s why we must show up for Black families that are targeted by the carceral system.
Getting people out of these cages is just half the battle. We need to make sure Black caregivers have the resources they need to survive and thrive after release. Color Of Change is continuing that tradition with our third annual Black Caregivers Bail Out Toy and Winter Coat Drive !
We’re organizing and helping support families with toys, winter clothes, and other essential items all season long, and we need your help to bring Black joy to families this holiday season.
For years, the National Bail Out1 organization and the Center for Resilient Individuals, Families, and Communities have been working tirelessly to fight back against the unjust and racist bail and pretrial detention systems.
Their “Black Mamas Bailout” has become an annual staple that has helped hundreds of caregivers . We’re honored to collaborate with them for the third year in a row to make sure Black mamas and caregivers have some support they need during the holiday season.
Friend, we know that it’s our communities that keep us safe, protect us, and help us heal.
SUPPORT BLACK FAMILIES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
Color Of Change will be collaborating with National Bail Out and Center for Resilient Individuals, Families, and Communities and their partners to get wish lists from bailed out mamas and caregivers for the things they need the most.
Friend, your contributions can help ensure that we help as many families as possible — not only this holiday season but throughout the year as well.
Chip in to support Black families of the Bail Out.
Until Justice is Real,
Scott, Erika, Rashad, Arisha, Malachi, Megan, Ernie, Palika, Ariel, Madison, Trevor, Erick, Ana, Kristiana, McKayla and the Color Of Change team.
