Week in Review

This past week, we joined 150 organizations across the country and a coalition of House Democrats to introduce a bill that would ban the use of solitary confinement in federal prisons, jails, and detention centers. On Thursday, VOCAL-NY’s Civil Rights Union held a town hall to discuss organizing against mass incarceration and policing. Also, VOCAL-NY’s GROW Organizer Malik Mills was spotlighted on social media.
