U.S (HAWAÏ) : Let’s come together for MAUI.

It is hard to imagine the devastation that wildfires have left behind on Maui.

Our country’s deadliest wildfire in the last 100 years. At least 111 deaths. Over 2,200 buildings destroyed, most of them homes, including virtually the entire town of Lāhainā, Hawaiʻi.

Fueled by climate change.

There are no two ways about it — our rapidly changing climate is becoming a life-and-death issue. And it’s only getting worse each year.

The wildfires have completely upended access to basic necessities and thousands of homes across the island.

The Maui Food Bank is connecting residents in need with food, water, sanitary items, and other critical supplies right now.

And tragically, as residents have lost contact with their pets or have to make the gut-wrenching decision to shelter their families by giving their pets up for adoption, the Hawaiian Humane Society is helping to shelter, relocate, and reunite them.
