Dear friend,
This is what we were put here to do. In the short time since we last asked for your help, we have contributed over $30,000 directly to 300 families and 1,126 people who were harmed by Hurricane Ida !
Fortunately, we’re not the only ones doing this essential work to protect our communities from the rising waters of the climate crisis. Our brothers and sisters at Dream Corps’ Green For All have both stepped up to match our initial commitment- bringing in an additional match offer of $10,000.
Help us do the urgent work of helping people directly, immediately, today.
We’ve done so much, but unfortunately it’s a drop in the bucket compared to how many people still need us. The climate crisis is here, now, and currently thousands in Louisiana are still without the basic necessities they need to survive [1].
Of all the things we’re proud to work on at Hip Hop Caucus, helping our people directly is the one we are most committed to. Help us keep our promise to our communities-- donate today to our Hurricane Ida Relief Fund.
We have one job – to be there with the net when our people are falling, and keep food on every table and lights on in every home.
For Future Generations,
Rev Yearwood
President & CEO
Hip Hop Caucus.
P.S. You can see a more detailed breakdown of our fund’s impact right here.
