Friend,
The Supreme Court just overturned Roe v. Wade.
In a sweeping 5–4 decision, the extremist wing of the Court stole away one of the most important rights for bodily autonomy--and kicked off a massive shutdown of a major segment of health care for Americans.
This is the biggest health care and gender rights crisis of a generation. We have our work cut out for us, and what we are able to do in the coming weeks and months depends on you, right now.
Will you become a monthly donor right now and help fight for reproductive rights for the future?
Or, click here to donate one time.
A fringe group of Republicans have been working toward this moment since President Ronald Reagan nominated Antonin Scalia to the Supreme Court.
We are taking to the streets, because we need to remind our representatives that this Roe decision is not in line with what 80% of Americans want.1 We need to remind them that safe and legal abortion access is proven to help women participate in the labor force at higher rates, attain higher education, and rise out of poverty.2
And while we are rallying a groundswell of opposition to this decision, we also need to help the people being impacted right now.
As of this moment, there are millions of people that must travel hundreds of miles to obtain an abortion--and with a severe abortion provider shortage that existed before the Supreme Court's decision, it is now going to be harder than ever to access reproductive care, especially for those people with limited means.3
UltraViolet is preparing to expand our fight to protect reproductive care while providing long-term support to the abortion funds taking care of patients in this crisis. We need ongoing funding from our members to succeed—will you sign on as a sustaining member today ?
Yes, I’ll donate monthly and help fight for reproductive rights.
No, but I can make a one-time donation now.
Thank you for fighting alongside us.
