Friend, immediately after Uvalde, we started a petition campaign to demand action from the Biden administration and stop tragedies like it from happening again. But in the time since Uvalde, over 43 people have been killed in 38 mass shootings across the country.   We can’t go on like this – we won’t go on like this. Millions of people are standing in the shadow of gun violence, not knowing if they or the ones they love might be the next national tragedy we somehow move on from.       Take action: Sign our petition to demand Congress implement a series of gun control measures that would help stop tragedies like this from ever happening again.           SIGN NOW           Last night, President Biden addressed the nation with words on stopping gun violence. But we all remember what’s happened with just thoughts and prayers.   Previous administrations have made similar appeals – talking about the importance of background checks but not fighting hard enough to implement them, or letting certain politicians get away with putting the NRA over people’s lives.       This time can be different, but only with an unprecedented outcry from everyday folks.
