Friend,    Did you know that in just 7 states, tipped workers are paid the same hourly rate as minimum wage workers ? But in the rest of the country, including my home state of Michigan, there’s a lower wage for tipped workers. Last year I introduced the Restaurant Workers Bill of Rights to end the tipped minimum wage and defend restaurant workers, who are disproportionately impacted―many who are single parents, women, people of color, and immigrants.
