Throughout Amazonian countries, there has been an increase in threats to Indigenous peoples’ territorial rights. Especially for Indigenous peoples in voluntary isolation, diminished territorial rights are a matter of life and death as land invaders bring immuno-compromising diseases.
Sign the petition to demand that Amazonian countries uphold and respect Indigenous peoples’ territorial rights as determined by international policies.
The imposition of land-grabbing laws will directly threaten the safety of communities in affected territories, increase the risk of further resource exploitation, and exacerbate climate change.
