The list goes on.   African Americans have created, inspired, supported, and expanded many genres of music and it’s critical that we acknowledge these contributions—past and present— and give these artists their flowers.   To celebrate African American Music Appreciation Month, Hip Hop Caucus will be highlighting various types of genres driven by Black people and their unique contributions to the culture. From Hip Hop, to Blues, to Drill, to Reggae.
