U.S : Stop partisan meddling, SIGN ON.

National Democratic Redistricting Committee

"[partisan gerrymanders] deprived citizens of the most fundamental of their constitutional rights : the rights to participate equally in the political process... and to choose their political representatives."

-- Justice Elena Kagan

In the midst of a public health crisis and an official stay-at-home order, Wisconsin Republicans forced voters to make a difficult choice : protect their health or cast their vote. By pressing forward and rejecting an order from the governor to delay the election, the Republican legislature tried to suppress the vote in order to maintain their party's grip on power.

This kind of power grab is not an isolated incident. Time and again, Wisconsin's entrenched Republican leadership has worked to secure their own power, at the expense of -- and regardless of the desires of -- the people of their state. And they've had the U.S. Supreme Court as an accomplice.

The Supreme Court could have stood up against Republican entrenchment in Wisconsin, and for voters, when they had the chance to allow the state to extend the absentee ballot receipt deadline. But they didn't. Just as the Court could have limited partisan gerrymandering last year, but instead they chose to stand aside and embolden Republicans to continue their attacks on our democracy.

If we want fair elections in 2020 and beyond, we can't let these partisan attacks continue unchecked. But to make the biggest impact possible, we need you to raise your voice. Please, sign our petition to demand fair elections and an end to partisan voter suppression.
When the Supreme Court won't take a stand against partisan meddling it gives Republicans a green light to rig our elections to favor their party. Together, we can demand a fair democracy where everyone's voice is heard.

Thank you for being a part of that fight,

The NDRC Petition Team.

A.G. Holder: If the NDRC is successful in undoing rigged maps, we will be able to achieve a system in which everyone's vote counts.
